Former foreign secretary of the United Kingdom, Jack Straw, said his country’s trade with Iran saw a 42% rise over the past year following the implementation of the nuclear agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The 2015 deal between Iran and world powers paved the way for the removal of international sanctions against Iran. In exchange, the country agreed to limit the scope of its nuclear program. Straw made the statements in a conference on promoting trade with Iran in London on Wednesday, IRNA reported.
