Butane Industrial Group signed a cooperation contract with Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd, a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, in late February whereby Butane company will be the exclusive manufacturer, seller and after-sales services provider of all Bosch heating and residential water heater systems in Iran, reads an announcement posted on Butane Company’s website on Wednesday.
“Based on the contract, Bosch 24, 28 and 35 kW heater systems will be manufactured and sold in Iran from the first half of the upcoming Iranian year (starting March 21). This is only the beginning and, for sure, more items will be added to the list as we go on,” Butane Marketing Manager Majid Shayanmehr was quoted as saying by IRNA.
He noted that a new production line will be added to the Butane factory in the city of Saveh in Markazi Province for this purpose.
“The company has focused on the domestic market for the time being, but since the two companies have agreed on long-term cooperation, we are eying exports in the next few years as well,” Shayanmehr said.
Butane is a well-known Iranian brand producing a range of heating systems, water heaters, radiators and stoves.
