An official with the Agricultural Jihad Organization of Kohgilouyeh-Boyerahmad Province says a trade delegation from Russia will visit the province in the coming days to discuss the import of rose to their country. Flower farmers of the province produce over 13.5 million branches of rose worth 300 billion rials ($8.37 million at market exchange rate) every year, Shahram Askari added. “About 25 greenhouses produce flowers in the province and 2,000 people are active in this field,” IRNA quoted Askari as saying.
