Provincial Exports

More than 46,852 tons of goods valued at about $71 million were exported from Alborz Province over the past 10 months, indicating a growth of 35% and 73% in terms of volume and value compared with the similar period of the previous year, announced the superintendent of Alborz Province’s Customs Administration, Hossein Salari.  Pasta, jam, tomato paste, eggs, yogurt, biscuits, margarine, insulations, bitumen, auto parts and shampoo were the main exports, which mainly headed for Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UAE and Russia.
