The nine-month period ending December 21 saw exports of 4.51 million tons of goods worth $1.72 billion to Iraq via Parviz Khan and Khosravi border terminals in Qasr-e-Shirin County, Kermanshah Province. The main exports included Portland cement, cakes and biscuits, air-conditioners, tomatoes and tomato paste, dairy products, construction materials, fruit and vegetables. Qasr-e-Shirin shares more than 186 kilometers of border with Iraq. Parviz Khan and Khosravi border terminals are located along this extensive border, with the former being the country’s largest hub of exports to Iraq and accounting for 54% of total annual non-oil exports to the neighboring country, IRNA reported.
