Iran exported 52,000 tons of different types of aquatic animals worth $173 million during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (to end March 20), an official in Iran Fisheries Organization, Isa Golshahi announced. Iran’s export of aquatic animals over the past 11 months indicated 3% reduction compared with the similar period last year, noted the official, who predicted that the value of total aquatic products’ exports will exceed $300 million before the end of the current year.
