Iran Mercantile Exchange’s spot market played host to 182,000 tons of various commodities on Saturday, of which 152,000 tons were bitumen. As IME reported, the oil and petrochemical trading floor featured 89,000 tons of bitumen, 17,883 tons of petrochemicals, 9,000 tons of lube-cut oil as well as 200 tons of sulfur lumps. The export trading floor witnessed the offering of 63,000 tons of bitumen in addition to 400 tons of roof insulation. Elsewhere, close to 200 tons of Indian rice, 50 tons of unprocessed sunflower oil from Ukraine as well as 50 tons of soybean oil from Argentina were offered on the agricultural trading floor, which also saw the offering of 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 1,000 tons of soybean flakes and 200 tons of white sugar. Iran Aluminum Company offered 20 tons of aluminum ingots on the industrial and mining trading floor.
