The Iran Mercantile Exchange witnessed lousy trade on Sunday. National Iranian Copper Industries Company offered 4,000 tons of copper cathodes priced at 192,847 rials per kg, 3,500 tons of copper wire with the base price of 199,956 rials per kg, 20,000 tons of low-graded copper, 140 tons of molybdenum sulfur and 12 tons of precious metal concentrates on the industrial and mining trading floor.

Also on the same floor, the World Copper Company offered 270 tons of copper wire with the base price of 200,506 rials per kg; Iran Aluminum Company supplied 2,000 tons of aluminum alloy ingots of 99.75-percent purity priced at 65,560 rials per kg; Isfahan Steel Company offered 968 tons of mixed-rebar bundles and Mouteh Gold Complex supplied 30 kg of various types of gold bullions.

The agricultural trading floor played host to 92,600 tons of corn, 4,930 tons of rice, 6,000 tons of white sugar and 4,000 tons of durum wheat.

The oil and petrochemical trading floor featured 39,500 tons of various grades of bitumen, 26,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 22,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 4,508 tons of chemicals and 5,000 tons of sulfur.

Close to 4,500 tons of bitumen 6070, as well as 300 tons of roof insulation were offered on the export trading floor.

The secondary market saw 2,000 tons of scrap metals offered by the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways.

Overall, more than 140,000 tons of commodities were listed in IME’s spot and secondary markets.
