TEDPIX Ends Flat

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index, TEDPIX wrapped up Monday trading flat to keep hovering at 63,227.
The first market index ticked up 17.8 points or 0.04 percent to end at 45,636.3. The second market index slipped 115.1 points or 0.09 percent to 130,356.9. The free float index edged up 5.6 points or 0.01 percent to 72,454.9. The industry index gained 23.6 points or 0.04 percent to 52,097.8 and the blue chip index inched down 3.3 points or 0.08 percent to 2,892.5.
More than 340 million shares changed hands, valued at about $19.2 million to record another day of low trade volume and value amid equity market ambiguities.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company, with 18.52 points, had the highest positive contribution to TEDPIX. Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines and Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran followed the PGPIC.
Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Company was the biggest market laggard. Mobin Petrochemical Company and Bank Pasargad, with close to 12 and 7 points took the second and third place respectively.
