SAIPA’s new Saina automatic will be available in the market by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2017). The price of the new model has been estimated at 320 million rials ($9,142 at market exchange rate) while the older model was priced at 280 million rials ($8,000), local automotive website Carnet wrote over the weekend. Saina is a compact sedan in the economy class of vehicles and in terms of technical specifications is pretty much the same as SAIPA’s Tiba with minor differences. The older versions unveiled last winter came with a 1.5-liter engine and were equipped with anti-skid braking system and electronic brake-force distribution. The car’s maximum torque is 128 Nm/4000 rpm.
