Mass production of Lifan 820 began at Kerman Motors Company and sales started on May 21 at all official showrooms, the company's head of customer support said. As announced earlier, Lifan 820 is priced at 820 million rials ($23,500), Akhbar Khodro also quoted Mansour Askarian as saying. According to the official, the company will produce 16 units of the car daily. Lifan 820 is a midsize sedan purportedly inspired by Toyota's Camry. It was first unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show and later released in June 2015. The car was first revealed in Iran in February 2016 at Isfahan's 12th International Exhibition of Automobile Industry. Kerman Motors Company is one of Iran's largest private auto manufacturers.
