An office has opened in Denmark to support Iranian workforce, an official with the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare said.
Mohammad Akbarnia added such centers are operating in Australia, Canada, Oman and Turkey since a year now.
They are tasked with finding jobs for international recruitment centers in Iran, protecting their rights and resolving the legal problems of Iranians working in these countries.
"These centers are overseen by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry and are run by the private sector," Akbarnia was quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency.
In May, former cooperatives minister, Ali Rabiei, visited Denmark and discussed the possibility of sending skilled Iranian workforce to the European country.
The two officials also discussed issues related to Iranian immigrants and Denmark’s experience about improving rural employment and pension funds.
