Iran Agrees to Issue Yearlong Visas for Kazakh Transport Firms

Iran has agreed to issue yearlong visas for the drivers of Kazakh transport companies.
"The Kazakh delegation, including representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, took part in the eighth meeting of consular consultations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Islamic Republic of Iran," the Kazakh Telegraph Agency wrote, citing a message by the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
The delegation was headed by Tauboldy Umbetbayev, director of Foreign Ministry's Consular Service Department. The Iranian delegation was headed by Ali Asgar Mohammadi, director of Consular Service Department of the Iranian Foreign Ministry. The officials discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation in the consular field.
“They also discussed consular legal and visa issues, as well as protection of the rights and interests of the citizens of two countries. In particular, the parties agreed to issue visas for drivers of Kazakhstan transport companies for one year with a stay of up to 30 days each time," the message added.
