A total of 461,145 tons of goods worth $406.49 million were exported from the city of Kashan located in the north of Isfahan Province in the fiscal 2022-23 (ended March 20), according to Alimorad Norouzi, a local customs official.
Rebar grabbed the lion’s share of exports with 328,216 tons.
Swamp cooler, porcelain dishes, steel and galvanized sheets, rosewater, herbal essence, lemon juice, copper wire, dairy products, yarn and synthetic fibers, brake pads, sacks, tiles and construction stones were other major exported goods, IRNA reported.
The main export destinations during the period were Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Russia, South Africa, Croatia, Oman, Qatar, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Mexico, Venezuela, Greece, Serbia, Georgia, Vietnam, Kenya, Lebanon, Libya, New Zealand, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Canada, Japan, India, Poland, Britain, Brazil, Austria, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Armenia, Turkey, Romania, Tajikistan and Pakistan.
