Iran’s trade with its leading trade partner, China, reached $12.31 billion during the first nine months of 2022, registering an 18% rise compared with the corresponding period of the year before.
Latest data released by China’s General Administration of Customs show Iran’s exports totaled $5.36 billion during the period, indicating an 11.4% year-on-year increase.
In return, China exported $6.94 billion worth of goods to Iran, registering a 23.7% YOY rise.
Bilateral trade hit $1.16 billion in September 2022 with Iran’s exports at $415.24 million and imports at $752.92 million.
