A total of 14,565 tons of raisins worth 4.52 trillion rials ($19.25 million) were exported from Malayer County in Hamedan Province during the current Iranian year’s first nine months (March 21-Dec. 21, 2021), registering a 13% and 17% rise in weight and value respectively compared with the similar period of last year, according to a local customs official.
“Our exports were shipped to 24 countries during the period,” Nasser Torkashvand was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
The official noted that raisins accounted for 66.62% and 75.33% of the total volume and value of exports from Malayer during the period (21,861 tons worth 6 trillion rials or $25.55 million).
