Iran Steel Production Reaches 52.3m Tons in Fiscal 2020-21

Iranian steelmakers produced a total of 52.33 million tons of semi-finished and finished steel products in the last fiscal year (ended March 20, 2021).
According to Iranian Steel Producers Association’s latest report, semis accounted for 30.252 million tons of the total output, up 11% YOY.
Billet and bloom made up 18.805 million tons of semi-finished production.
Slab output reached 11.447 million tons to register a 12% and 10% YOY rise respectively.
The output of finished steel increased by 10% YOY to 22.078 million tons.
