A total of $13 million worth of poultry, livestock and veterinarian products were exported from the central Semnan Province in the last Iranian year (March 2020-21), showing a 44% rise compared with the year before, according to the director general of the province’s Veterinary Bureau.
“The exported products included goat hair and wool, inedible livestock internals, frozen chicken, egg-laying hen, eggs and livestock and poultry pharmaceuticals,” Hamidreza Hosseini was quoted as saying by IRNA.
“The UK, Vietnam, China, Armenia, Turkmenistan and some other Central Asian states were the main export destinations.”
