Tabas Coal Concentrate Plant, located in South Khorasan Province, was inaugurated on Thursday by Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, the head of Plan and Budget Organization of Iran.
The plant has a production capacity of 500,000 tons per year, ISNA reported.
It is the fifth coal concentrate production unit in Tabas and South Khorasan Province.
A total of 2.8 trillion rials ($15.64 million) were invested in the project by Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development.
It has created 105 new jobs.
