Over 8m Tons of Iron Ore Extracted From Sangan Complex

Sangan Iron Ore Complex in Khaf County of Khorasan Razavi Province extracted 8.38 million tons of iron ore during the last Iranian year that ended on March 19, 2020, to register a 53% rise compared to the year before.
According to managing director, Ali Hemmati, the complex has attracted 30 trillion rials ($185 million) worth of investment from the private sector to realize its development goals in the current fiscal year (March 2020-21), IRNA reported.
“The investment is expected to increase the number of jobs at the complex from the current 7,000 to 9,000,” he added.
