The Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade has imposed duties on onion export, effective from March 5 to April 19, announced Saeed Abbaspour, said director general of Exports and Imports Regulations Office at the ministry, in a letter to Director General of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration's Export Affairs Division Ali Akbar Shamani.
The duty stands at 100,000 rials ($0.6) per kilogram, IRNA reported.
