    Sistan-Baluchestan Registers $277m in Trade Surplus

    The southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan registered a trade surplus of $277.69 million during the first half of the current fiscal year (March 21-Sept. 22).

    According to Nader Mirshekar, the head of Sistan-Baluchestan Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, the volumes of exports and imports stood at $464.21 million and $186.52 million respectively..

    “H1 exports to Pakistan and Afghanistan hovered around $223.44 million and $218.83 million respectively and imports from the two neighboring countries stood at $104.3 million from Pakistan and $1.26 million from Afghanistan,” Mirshekar was also quoted as saying by Shata News.
