Nilper Orchestra

Tehran Festival Orchestra, known as Nilper Orchestra, is going to perform a variety of classical pieces at Vahdat Hall. Slated for September 19 at 9:30 pm, the orchestra will be conducted by Navid Gohari, founder of the orchestra, according to Tiwall (tiwall.com) where tickets are available. Repertoire of the event includes ‘Insula Deserta’ composed by Estonian composer Erkki-Sven Tuur, 57; ‘Funf Stucke’ by German composer, violist, violinist and conductor Paul Hindemith (1895-1963); ‘A Persian Suite’ by Iranian composer and conductor Ali Reza Mashayekhi, 77; ‘Three Pieces in Old Style’ by Polish composer Henryk Mikolaj Gorecki (1933-2010); and ‘Orawa’ composed by Polish film score composer Wojciech Kilar (1932-2013).
