At her upcoming concerts, she will sing songs including ‘Gol-e Pamchal’ (primrose), ‘My Man’, ‘Apple’, ‘Blue Sky’, ‘Ring’ and ‘Restless’.
In the performance, she will be accompanied by Forough Fazli (playing the piano), Azadeh Shams, (violin), Niloofar Ebrahimi (flute), Armina Jafari (drums) and Sara Ahmadi (daf).
One of the few lady singers in the country, Ghanem, 73, was born in the northern town of Tonekabon in Mazandaran Province. She had her first performance in 1968 but her career kicked off officially in 1969 at the age of 25.
