Young musician Reza Tajbakhsh is preparing his first album in which he has produced the music and sung as well, to be released by the end of the current Persian year in March 2018.

The name of the album is not announced yet but it will include five vocal tracks, which he has sung, and three instrumental pieces in jazz fusion style, says a press release from his public relations manager sent to Financial Tribune.

Jazz fusion (also known as jazz-rock) is a musical genre that developed in the late 1960s when musicians combined aspects of jazz harmony and improvisation with styles such as funk, rock, rhythm and blues, and Latin jazz.

Besides Tajbakhsh, renowned musicians Mani Rahnama and Dariush Salehpour have sung the melodies. The tracks are produced by Tajbaksh, Ali Birang and Amir Ali Nikzad, and the lyrics are by famous lyricists Roozbeh Bemani and Yaghma Golrouee.

Tajbakhsh, 36, started his professional career in 2000. As a pianist and music producer, he has collaborated with several pop singers including Babak Jahanbakhsh, Mani Rahnama, Hamid Hami, Nima Masiha, Ali Tafrashi, Hamid Khandan and Mehdi Yarahi in their albums and stage performances. He has also sung as a co-singer in two concerts conducted by him.
