50 Architects, Designers Win A’ Design Awards

More than 50 Iranian architects and designers are among winners of the annual A’ Design Award and Competition 2016-2017 held in Italy.
Participating in different categories of the competition, they won awards for their innovative architecture projects and designs.
The Keyvani brothers Nima and Sina from Iran won a silver award for their construction and interior design of a building in Kiev, Ukraine, called ‘Mehr-Khaneh’. The project was undertaken in collaboration with the Iranian company Studio Persian Primavera (founded by Solmaz Fooladi).
“The building and design of the modern structure has been inspired by Iranian architecture and culture,” Mehr News Agency quoted Nima as saying. “Ancient Iranian symbols have a major role in our design. For instance, the Sun, as the most significant element symbolizes light and awareness”.
Last year, the brothers won a bronze medal in the competition.
A’ Design Award is a premier annual juried design competition that honors the best designers, architects, engineers, design studios, brands and design oriented companies worldwide to provide them publicity, fame and recognition.
Every year, projects that focus on innovation, technology, design and creativity are awarded. While the awarded projects find opportunities to get published, or reach new markets and meet a wide range of buyers for their existing products, it also helps creative minds and startups to meet with the business community to sell their ideas.
The judging takes place at various levels with the participation of over 80 judges from professional experts around the world, who are among famous academic figures, managers of major companies, engineers or winners of previous editions.
