‘Risk of Acid Rain’ at Zurich Festival

Feature drama ‘Risk of Acid Rain’ directed by Behtash Sanaeeha will vie at the 11th Zurich Film Festival (ZFF), slated for September 24-October 4, in Switzerland.
The 2014 production narrates the story of a lone employee of a tobacco company after retirement. Noted author Shams Langerudi and Maryam Moqadam who star in the film will attend the festival, Mehr News Agency reported.
Last year, it was premiered at the 33rd Fajr Film Festival, ‘New Vision’ section, dedicated to screening works by first-time filmmakers. Written by Sanaeeha and Moqadam, it won an honorary diploma for the best original screenplay.
Launched in 2005, the Swiss film event is firmly established on the national and international festival landscape and offers audiences an insight into the work of the most promising filmmakers from around the globe and promotes exchange of ideas between established film workers, creative talent and the public.
