Iran’s Faghani to Referee 2015 AFC Final

Iran’s Alireza Faghani has been selected to judge the Saturday South Korea–Australia match in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup final.
Two other Iranian referees, Reza Sokhandan and Mohammadreza Abolfazli, are supposed to accompany Faghani during the final match. Fahad Al-Madrasi from Saudi Arabia will be the fourth referee.
The final match between South Korea and Australia will take place in Sydney on Saturday, January 31.
Faghani, whose name has been on the international list since 2008, was appointed as the fourth referee for South Korea–Iraq match on Monday at the Stadium Australia in Sydney.
He had also refereed the UAE and Japan match in the Asian Cup quarter-finals, where the titleholder Japan was knocked out of the tournament on the penalty shootout.
