Iran exported more than $400 million worth of goods to Indonesia during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Oct. 22), indicating a 43% increase compared with the similar period of last year.
According to Iran’s commercial attaché to Jakarta, Anvar Kamari, the exports mainly included steel, oil-related products, chemical products, fruit, carpet and textile, the news portal of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran reported.
Iran’s exports to Indonesia stood at $660 million in the last fiscal year (March 2017-18). The figure is expected to reach $900 million in the current year (ending March 20, 2019).

As per the document, the two countries will increase cooperation in the fields of health services, pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, medical research and development, prevention of contagious and non-communicable diseases, traditional medicine and crisis management.
