Exports to Iraq through Mehran’s international border—located in the west of Ilam Province—amounted to $290.5 million in the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 20), showing a 5% rise compared with the same period of last year, says Mohsen Mostafaei, director general of the province’s customs bureau. “The exports mainly consisted of construction materials, agricultural products, plastics, automobiles, auto parts and petrochemicals,” IRNA quoted Mostafaei as saying.
