Many young researchers cannot afford the high cost of getting the results of their works published on globally recognized scientific journals like Elsevier or Nature. To provide researchers in need of help in getting published in such journals, Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council has allocated 10 billion rials ($79,360).
The aid is aimed at motivating young researchers to steadily work in the field and promote their findings through publication in world-class magazines and journals, ISNA reported.
According to INIC, 930 researchers will benefit from the new program.
Researchers need to register with the council through its website nano.ir to get access to the financial aid.
