Tehran Telecommunications Company has paid compensations to 2,000 subscribers due to network congestion.

In recent months, a large number of TTC subscribers were complaining about network congestion and disconnection.

According to the customers, the quality of services was not in accordance with the service level agreement mentioned in their contract with TTC, ICTNA reported.

All Iranian Internet service providers are obliged to include SLA within the terms of their contracts so that customers are able to define the levels of service being sold.

SLA is a contract between a service provider and the end-user, which defines the level of service expected from the service provider. It is output-based in that their purpose is specifically to define what the customer will receive.

TTC Director Alireza Saeedi said, “Since services provided to 2,000 subscribers had not been in accordance with the SLA contract, TTC has paid compensations to them.”
