Iran’s National Business Environment Index improved slightly in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year (Dec. 22, 2017-March 20), according to the results of a study undertaken by Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
The index stood at 5.8 points in the fourth quarter, indicating a 0.92% and 0.58% improvement compared with Q3 and the same quarter of the year before respectively.
The index calculated by ICCIMA measures business friendliness of Iran’s economy, with 10 indicating the worst grade. The lower the figure, the better the business environment.
