Iran exported more than 7,800 tons of non-oil goods valued at $13 million to the UK during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21), which shows an increase of 16% compared to the same period last year, according to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration. Carpet, steel products, polyethylene, pottery, dates, raisins, caviar and saffron were among the main exports. More than 263,000 tons of goods worth $95.6 million were imported from the European country, which shows a 37% decline. The main imports included machinery, soybean, soybean meal, corn fodder, pharmaceuticals and day-old chicken.
