The ministry of roads and urban development is planning to use concrete on the surface of 10% of the country's roads. The plan applies to regions with extreme cold or hot temperatures. Compared to asphalt roads, concrete roads are more durable and environmentally-friendly. Roads with concrete surface have so far been built in three provinces across the country.
