Nakhlak Mineral Complex produced 2,019 tons of lead concentrate during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Dec. 21), indicating a 7% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported on its website. The company’s lead ore extraction during the period grew 34% year-on-year to reach 28,139 tons. Founded in 1952, the lead producer is located in Isfahan Province’s Naeen City. According to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization’s latest report, major Iranian lead and zinc producers extracted 714,642 tons of ore during the nine months, of which Angouran Lead and Zinc Complex accounted for 686,503 tons and Nakhlak Lead and Zinc Plant for 28,139 tons.
