Iranian cement prices will rise 17% by July, says the chairman of Cement Industry Employers Association, Abdolreza Sheikhan. According to the official, the hike in prices is intended to make up for the rising production costs and the producers’ lack of liquidity caused by the government-enforced pricing during the previous Iranian year (ended March 19), ISNA reported.
