The Third Alborz Auto Show opened on September 27. Over 30 automotive firms are taking part in the exhibition that is being held over an area of 4,000 square meters in Karaj, west of the capital Tehran.

The exhibition organizer, Saeed Mahmoudi, noted that the four-day show will close on September 30, local automotive website Asre Khodro reported.

The country’s largest carmaker Iran Khodro Company and nine of its subsidiaries are taking part, as are Modiran Vehicle Manufacturing (MVM), Kerman Motors and Atlas Khodro.

Mahmoudi said that auto part makers have a stronger presence in this edition of the exhibition compared to the past.

“We are expecting more than 200,000 visitors. The classic car section, specifically, draws many viewers.”

The official noted that extra information is available on the event website http://www.tana-group.com/.
