13% Rise in Iran's Non-Oil Trade With Italy
13% Rise in Iran's Non-Oil Trade With Italy

Iran traded 21,156 tons of non-oil commodities worth $83.93 million with Italy during the first Iranian month (March 21-April 20), registering a 1.14% and 13.11% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with the year before, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
Italy was Iran's 12th biggest trading partner during the period under review.
Iran’s exports to Italy stood at 13,087 tons worth $7.66 million to register an 8.47% rise tonnage and a 39.62% decrease in value year-on-year. 
Italy was Iran’s 25th export destination in the world.
Iran exported non-alloy iron and steel ingots, polyethylene, casting products, polyethylene film grade, animal skins and heating packages to Italy during the one-month period.
It exported 8,069 tons of commodities worth $76.27 million to Iran, down by 8.86% in tonnage and up 23.98% in value YOY. Italy was the seventh exporter of goods to Iran during the month under review.
Iran mainly imported gas turbines, AC generators, turbojet parts and machinery from Italy.
