Iran is set to introduce air taxi services before the current fiscal year ends in March 2020, a deputy roads minister says.
In a talk with Fars News Agency, Shahram Adamnejad added, “Before the current Iranian year comes to an end, we are set to introduce air taxi services.”
According to Adamnejad, the services will cover at least two areas. He did not elaborate.
Whether the services will be operated by a private company or a government entity has not been decided yet.
An air taxi is a small commercial aircraft that makes short flights on demand.
